The CRG Medical Transformation Health Care (THC) approach utilizes the KBCore open platform, a product that is new to the health care market. THC delivers a broad communication system that is completely customer-centric, database centralized, and can be utilized seamlessly across boundaries. THC provides key communication value to heath care institutions, regardless of current IT infrastructure.

The KBCore platform provides a cost-effective communication and delivery model that gives full control of the derived knowledge to local or regional organizations.

THC may be used as an incremental upgrade for particular hospital departments and functions, or expanded to a full patient safety evaluation system replacing an existing legacy reporting processes. THC provides management with a single view for the all-important information communication activities, either to improve the process of the delivery of health care to the patient or to represent the risk relevant data and information required when trying to eliminate the potential errors and harm.

Due to the unique way the product has been constructed, THC is installable as individual components or as a complete patient safety evaluation system (PSES) to meet the requirements of the new Department of Health and Human Services approved Patient Safety Organizations - PSOs.  The platform is also designed for high-level localization, such as support for multiple departments, including inpatient and ambulatory settings.
