Douglas B. Dotan, M.A., CQIA,
President of CRG Medical. Mr. Dotan comes from the aviation industry with more than thirty years
of experience in flying, mishap investigation, quality improvement, and safety operations. He has
a graduate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is a regional councilor for the
Health Care Division of the American Society for Quality. Douglas Dotan, an ASQ Certified Quality
Improvement Associate, is the company representative on the Research Quality Improvement Council
of the Washington, D.C. based National Quality Forum www.qualityforum.org,
and is the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Healthcare Division Program Chair for the World Congress
on Quality and Improvement. He is a member of the American Society for Risk Management (ASHRM) www.ashrm.org where
CRG Medical exhibits annually. Douglas Dotan presented in 2004 at the Medical Records Institute
Towards Electronic Patient Records (TEPR) Conference. He also presented to the Patient Safety Officers
pre-conference workshop at the Quality Colloquium at Harvard www.qualitycolloquium.com
Larry Hammond,
Manager Product Development. During the course of Mr. Hammond's 25-year career, he has gained keen
insights into the functioning of distributing product/service-oriented solutions in the healthcare
and hi-tech industry. He has worked with many major healthcare organizations and distribution channels
within many of the major computer manufacturers, internationally and in the United States. He has
developed a number of expert solutions using AI inference technologies.
Anngail Smith,
Director of Risk Management. Received both her bachelor and masters degrees in sociology from the
University of Illinois. She has over 30 years experience in healthcare, in both regulatory and
administrative capacities. Ms Smith focused originally in working with the elderly, directly as
a nursing home caseworker and later as a nursing home inspector. For the last 25 years, she has
been affiliated with a large university hospital, with responsibility for JCAHO preparation, Quality
Assurance and most recently 15 years in risk management for the hospital, providing support for
the hospital, its staff, the residents and faculty as well as consulting with the research community.
Ms Smith has held a variety of positions in professional societies, and has lectured in both quality
assurance and risk management at the local, state and national levels. She has been responsible
for implementation of an enterprise-wide risk reporting system, and led the internal development
a proprietary risk management data base system, including the transfer of data from a legacy system.
